Callie Carpinteri is an award-winning LA based writer/director originally from South Florida. As a young, female filmmaker, Callie is passionate about telling complex, female driven stories that empower women and inspire conversation. She’s also committed to the representation of women both in front of and behind the camera. In 2023, Callie co-wrote and directed her first independent short, a coming-of-age comedic drama titled, “Dirty Towel,” which she is now developing into a feature film.
