Rosalind Wong
Rosalind Wan Wong received her doctorate of musical arts under the direction of concert pianist Inna Faliks at UCLA. She gave the West Coast premiere of Vítězslava Kaprálová’s Piano Concerto in D Minor with conductor Geoffrey Pope in March 2023. She was also the winner of the AYS alumni concerto competition in 2023. As a member of the Alliance for Woman Film Composers, she is a proud supporter of woman and minority composers. She is the first prize winner of RecChange's 2021 international film scoring competition. After graduating with her doctorate in piano performance, Dr. Wong studied composition under the guidance of Grammy-Award winning composer Richard Danielpour. Most recently, you can find her streaming on AppleTV’s Philharmonic Fantastique by Mason Bates, in theaters as the pianist on Meg Ryan’s “What Happens Later”.
